Brendon M. Pinkard is new partner with Kerbey Harrington Pinkard

(Boston, MA) –– Kerbey Harrington today announced that nationally recognized telecommunications attorney Brendon M. Pinkard has joined the firm as a partner. The firm, now known as Kerbey Harrington Pinkard, has expanded with the opening of an office in Washington, D.C. that will include the firm’s government affairs consulting affiliate, Government Insight Group.

Mr. Pinkard, formerly a partner with Wiley Rein in Washington, D.C., will coordinate all operations in the Washington, D.C. office. A leading attorney specializing in cable television, video, telecommunications and broadband matters, Mr. Pinkard will also serve as an advisor to the firm’s government affairs consulting affiliate.

Mr. Pinkard has more than a decade of experience in negotiating cable television franchise agreements in the nation’s largest metropolitan areas, including New York City, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh. Mr. Pinkard successfully represented telecommunications clients in the United States’ largest-ever investment in and deployment of an urban fiber optic network. He has frequently testified at public hearings in support of cable franchise agreements and transfer-of-control approvals. Mr. Pinkard has extensive experience representing clients in the negotiation of right-of-use agreements for fiber optic institutional networks between telecommunication providers and municipalities.

Mr. Pinkard was recognized in 2011 by The National Law Journal as a “Minority 40 Under 40” attorney and in 2013 and 2014 by Super Lawyers magazine as a “Rising Star.”
